Our Response
We deliver holistic, personalized orphan care, ensuring that every orphan and their caregiver receives a tailored intervention plan designed to promote stability, growth, and long-term empowerment.
How It Works
- Carefully selected and trained spiritual leaders guide and facilitate the process within their communities.
- Each orphan is identified, screened, and thoroughly assessed by a qualified social worker.
- We leverage technology and data to design customized intervention plans that address each child’s unique needs, and to monitor their progress.
- Our organizational strategy is built on seven core dimensions, which form the structure of our personalized, holistic intervention plan for each orphan.

How old must a child be to be supported by Orphan7?
We support orphans from early childhood up to the age of 15. After a child turns 15 years old, they are off-boarded from the programme, but we continue to provide oversight through our alumni programme and connect children to employment opportunities to give them the best chance at success. Our goal is to walk alongside each child throughout their formative years and beyond, ensuring they have the care and resources they need to thrive.

Our approach is holistic, addressing not only financial needs, but also health, education, spiritual, and social development. How do you monitor and measure impact?
We maintain regular engagement with each child and their caregiver, ensuring consistent oversight and support. We collect reports and key documentation from the different stakeholders, and use a dedicated platform to capture and track data. This allows us to monitor progress in real time and intervene early where additional support is needed.
How are the children cared for?
We take a hands-on approach. Each child and caregiver are supported by a network that includes professional social workers, spiritual leaders, and relevant service providers. Our holistic care model addresses 7 dimensions, including health, education, spiritual wellbeing, and social development, ensuring that support extends beyond financial assistance to nurture the whole child.
