The 7 Dimensions serve as the cornerstones of Orphan7, ensuring holistic intervention and support to nurture well-rounded individuals.

Financial

Families receive tailored financial assistance based on individual needs, including vouchers for essentials and payments toward rent and household expenses. This support ensures safe and stable housing, covers daily living costs, helps manage finances, and provides assistance for significant life milestones.

Health

Support is provided to ensure our children achieve optimal health through regular check-ups, medical care, and nutrition. This includes assistance with physical needs (e.g., spectacles, doctor’s consultations), psychosocial support (e.g., play therapy, counselling), and developmental health issues.

Education

To enable our children to succeed academically, we provide access to quality education, essential materials such as books, stationery, and technology, along with school uniforms, tutoring, and additional academic support.

Social

We provide access to various sports, recreation, and social activities, such as karate and gymnastics, along with events that encourage physical activity, leisure, and the building of peer support networks.

Spiritual

Children’s spiritual development is nurtured through madrassah classes, activities, and games, providing religious education, access to texts, and spiritual mentorship, fostering a strong Islamic identity, and building bonds with their spiritual leaders.

Empowerment

We focus on empowering caregivers and children with vocational and professional skills through training programs, as well as with essential life skills and personal development guidance, providing them with the tools to achieve independence, growth, and long-term success.

We verify all information provided about the child and conduct a comprehensive needs assessment. A personalised care plan is then developed, and a shared commitment is made by the caregiver, spiritual leader, and child to walk the journey together.
The child and caregiver receive a Welcome Pack and are introduced to the support outlined in their care plan. The child is connected with professional support services and a dedicated mentoring programme to provide consistent guidance.

How old must a child be to be supported by Orphan7?
We support orphans from early childhood up to the age of 15. After a child turns 15 years old, they are off-boarded from the programme, but we continue to provide oversight through our alumni programme and connect children to employment opportunities to give them the best chance at success. Our goal is to walk alongside each child throughout their formative years and beyond, ensuring they have the care and resources they need to thrive.
