Orphan 7 was born from a devastating reality.

Across the world, millions of children are growing up without parents and in under-resourced communities, often unseen and forgotten. Many are surviving, but missing out on the opportunities they deserve simply because they lack access to resources and support.

We saw the gap, and we chose to respond.

In December 2022, we launched with 17 orphans. Since its inception, Orphan 7 has partnered with trusted spiritual leaders, who know and understand the children within their communities to ensure that we reach the most vulnerable.

Over the years, we have built a strong network of spiritual leaders, caregivers, social workers, and partners committed to walking alongside every child from the beginning of their Orphan 7 journey.

Through our growing network, we continue to identify, support, and empower children to not just survive, but thrive within their own communities.

Ahmed Mulla

CEO

Ahmed Mulla is a professional civil engineer and project manager with over 20 years of corporate experience who chose to direct that expertise toward a cause close to his heart. Having worked across several NGOs, he saw firsthand how orphan care lacked the structured, data-driven approach that drives results in the corporate world. Orphan7 bridged that gap by bringing technology, professional rigour, and systematic programme design into a space traditionally driven by compassion alone. His vision: an organisation where every orphan receives care that is as impactful as it is heartfelt, because every child deserves to be cared for as we would care for our own

As Programme Manager, Nabeelah leads programme delivery with a people-centred approach, ensuring that the organisation's work is shaped not just by data and systems, but by genuine connection with the children, caregivers, and communities it serves.
